Former Pineville Minuteman and author, Letisha Cook, visited Pineville Elementary first graders today! She and her daughter, Harper, took turns reading her newly published children’s book “A Flamingo for Harper’s Birthday.” She shared her book character plushie and passed out flamingo stickers to everyone. 🦩📖🦩📖

‼️🚌Friday, March 18, 2022 Wyoming East High School Pineville Elementary and Middle School Bus 187 Will won’t be running this evening. Bus 213 will be bringing those students home. High School students will be about 20 minutes late getting home! Elementary and Middle School students will be about 4:20 before they leave the school. Bus 213 will bring those students home!

‼️🚌Friday March 18th, 2022 Wyoming East High School Pineville Elementary and Middle School AM runs: Bus 187 Welch Pineville Road will not run tomorrow. Bus 213 will start picking up high school and elementary/middle school students together at 8:20AM.

‼️🚌March 17, 2022 Wyoming East High School Pineville Elementary and Middle School Bus 187 Will won’t be running this evening. Bus 213 will be bringing those students home. High School students will be about 20 minutes late getting home! Elementary and Middle School students will be about 30 minutes late getting home!

Students in Mrs. Griffith’s Kindergarten classroom at Pineville Elementary School are flocking into spring time by learning about animals and life cycles. Students began their first study on chickens. On day one each student picked out an egg and placed them into an incubator. Each day students are examining the eggs, adding water to the incubator when needed, recording the humidity and temperature, and documenting any changes they see. Pineville Elementary celebrated Pi Day with lunchtime activities. Students had a blast learning about the different components that lead to Pi. To help remember students got to “PI” Mr. Kennedy. 🥧 #PESPRIDE

On Monday March 7th, Pineville Elementary student Brystol Ellis placed 1st in the West Virginia Science & Engineering Fair that was held at the Charleston Coliseum. Students from all over the state competed in the fair. Brystol represented Wyoming County and placed 1st in the 3rd-5th Division 1 Biology C category. Third and fourth grade computer classes at Pineville Elementary have been working on mastering features in Google Docs. They put their knowledge to use to create and print Good Luck posters for the Lady Warriors! These posters will be proudly displayed around the school! 💻💚 #ShowcaseWyCoSchools
