Pineville Elementary School

Students in Mrs. Griffith’s Kindergarten classroom at Pineville Elementary School are flocking into spring time by learning about animals and life cycles. Students began their first study on chickens. On day one each student picked out an egg and placed them into an incubator. Each day students are examining the eggs, adding water to the incubator when needed, recording the humidity and temperature, and documenting any changes they see. Pineville Elementary celebrated Pi Day with lunchtime activities. Students had a blast learning about the different components that lead to Pi. To help remember students got to “PI” Mr. Kennedy. 🥧 #PESPRIDE

On Monday March 7th, Pineville Elementary student Brystol Ellis placed 1st in the West Virginia Science & Engineering Fair that was held at the Charleston Coliseum. Students from all over the state competed in the fair. Brystol represented Wyoming County and placed 1st in the 3rd-5th Division 1 Biology C category. Third and fourth grade computer classes at Pineville Elementary have been working on mastering features in Google Docs. They put their knowledge to use to create and print Good Luck posters for the Lady Warriors! These posters will be proudly displayed around the school! 💻💚 #ShowcaseWyCoSchools

‼️🚌Wednesday, March 9, 2022 Pineville Elementary School Bus 215 and Bus 147 Evening Runs: Bus 215 Rose will not be running this evening! Bus 216 Cathy will be bringing those students home this evening. McGraws Hollow parents will need to meet the bus at the mouth of the hollow at 4:15! Bus 147 Bernard will not be running this evening! Bus 154 will be bringing those students home. Bus 154 will start into Bowmans Bottom around 4:15. Parents that have students in Coon Fork, School House, and Cox Hollows will need to meet the bus at the mouth of those hollows!
