The Wyoming County Career and Technical Center has received five Oculus TranfrVR headsets to be used for Career Exploration. Counselor Mitchell Church, Instructors Tim Weaver and Jaime Brooks, Assistant Principal Luke Stevens and Principal Stacey Lusk were trained on how to set them up and use them for Career Exploration and recruitment. Wyoming County Schools is proud to partner with WVU Extensions to offering a fun and amazing time with Energy Express. This program will provide a dynamic learning opportunity for students entering into grades 1-4. Locations will be in three areas within Wyoming County: Berlin McKinney, Mullens Elementary, and Pineville Elementary. We would like to congratulate the Wyoming County Career and Technical Center’s Practical Nursing Program for their successful initial accreditation visit with COE (Council on Occupational Education). COE is an accrediting institution for post-secondary programs. An institution must fulfill certain criteria before becoming eligible for accreditation through COE. Accreditation status and length of accreditation will be determined in June. The WCCTC initial exit conference with COE visiting members stated that there were no findings or issues to be addressed.👏🏼
